Our Story
Two theater kids walk into an audition...

...and then they fell in love

There's something to be said about the whimsical world of theater. Not only does it provide a stage for actors to bring words to life, but it is a space of endless imagination. So what happens when pretend turns into reality? A very adventurous love story.

Brian and Taylor met in 2016 while attending Georgia State University. While their majors never gave them the opportunity to know one another, their passion for theater did. After landing roles in a quirky play about love called "Almost, Maine", the pair began to grow inseparable. They both shared a love for Frank Ocean, Atlanta's notable prison tacos, and spur of the moment adventures. With some persistence and a flower delivery or two, Brian's magnetic personality swept Taylor away. For Brian, however, it had been love at first sight - and he knew she was worth the world. The pair spent their days creating music and art, dancing nights away, and munching on Brian's most impressive culinary concoctions before graduation arrived.

As Brian began his career as an officer in the U.S. Army, the couple vowed to keep their love alive. Taylor joined him for three long cross country road trips to help him in his new chapter. Their venture spanned more than 15 states and solidified their adoration for travelling together. Despite being worlds apart as Taylor finished college back home, they endured. After overcoming deployments, the instability of military life, graduations, and big career decisions, they found a way to reunite in the infinite, snow-capped mountains of Alaska. No matter the time apart, they always found home in one another.
It didn't take long before they knew for sure that they wanted their own forever.

So, after five years of love and one more big move across the country, Brian mustered the courage to pop the question!
And with a resounding "YES!", the two began planning their happily ever after.

Despite pandemic concerns, we hope that you can join us in celebrating in this new stage of their love.
No matter what part of the world you are in, we are so grateful to share this wonderful moment with you.
